Yes, one hundred days ago, we issued the M.A.L Challenge, calling on the M.A.L.adies to "put their money where their mouth is" and show us their own photographs, so we could see just how their work compares to that of Marc Adamus and his friends they so despise.
To no one's surprise, the response has been...silence.
I guess the M.A.L.adies realize that, if they had to show their own work, the jig would be up, and the entire photographic world would realize they weren't worthy of carrying a real photographer's tripod case. This way, instead, what we see is that they don't have the guts to stand up and speak for themselves. Again, not a surprise.

why?
ReplyDeletethe marcadamuslies blog is not a photo contest. i do not see anything that has said the blog author is a better photographer than marc adamus, or anyone else.
the purpose of the blog, as i view it, is to expose the lies, exaggerations, story telling and overall boasting of marc adamus.
i suppose the same challenge could be made of you...post your photos sir!
Once again, nice try.
ReplyDeleteThe M.A.L. site and blog have made the claims that a) Marc Adamus overprocesses his images and b) that he his a poor photographer in any case, one who has never produced a decent image.
It seems to me that, if you're going to make those claims, you better back them up with proof that you can do better, or at least produced quality "purist" images with little or no manipulation yourself.
This is especially the case because I have received numerous posts claiming that a certain "mystery photographer" (who the poster names) is running the M.A.L. site. While I don't have enough solid evidence to reveal that person's identity, I will say that a check of their website reveals photographs that are at least as Photoshopped as any Adamus has ever produced, if not more so.
As to your last point: as I have said many times, I will reveal my identity as soon as the M.A.L.ady or M.A.L.adies reveal theirs or have them revealed through legal proceedings (which, hopefully, won't be too long from now). At that point, anyone will be able to check out my website and see my own work. Until then, as I've said earlier, "you first!"
I just saw a defamation/internet case on TV and that obsessed sick MAL site was almost identical to the person who got the shi* sued out of them. We all can't wait to see the moron at that slander site get their justice too! Keep up the great work here helping to counter and protect people from such lunatics until their day with the law (or a vigilante) comes.
