The psychotic clown(s) seem to have a number of interesting and quite...creative rules for photography, such as that you can't be a
real photographer if you ever take a workshop from another photographer. Today, they've introduced a new one, stating that Marc Adamus cannot be a "
real photographer" because he worked as a part-time bartender two years ago. Apparently, according to The M.A.L.ady Rules, if you've ever worked at some other job in order to support your photography, you are forever excluded from being considered a true photographer.
Let's see how well that rule applies, shall we? While pursuing their photography...
- Ansel Adams worked as a piano teacher
- Minor White waited tables
- Eliot Porter was a biochemist
- Galen Rowell ran an auto repair business
...and, as far as we can tell, the M.A.L.adies sit at their computer all day, because we have yet to see any evidence that "they" are real photographers (in
any sense of the term).
The person(s) at that M.A.L. site is just an idiot. Please get on with disclosing who the person(s) is!
ReplyDeleteYes, anyone who works any other job, even part time, including teaching photography, or workshops, or writing for magazines or anything for that matter is a fake (not real) photographer! LOL! Idiot! Actually the word "professional" can mean part or full living from your work. It does not exclude anything or everything less than 100%. But, that is what you have with that wacko on that site, a black and white thinker. Very dangerous.
ReplyDeleteThere has been an extensive legal investigation.
ReplyDeleteThere is and will continue to be a police presence in the investigations.
There is also an ongoing computer forensics investigation.
What we know so far: MAL is one deranged person. This person has committed crimes to numerous to mention, and more serious charges are mounting. MAL is obviously a pathological liar and very scared of being discovered, but can only hide for so long. We have already proven an extensive case for defamation in the eyes of the law and have received full and extensive cooperation from legal athorities. I cannot discuss this further at this time, or tell you what I actually know about the person behind the site.
If things continue to be delayed, we will at least have legal recourse to shut down the main website, but have not done so as of yet because the person behind the site continues to incriminate themselves further.
Marc Adamus
I doubt this is true.
ReplyDeleteWhy are you removing comments?!
ReplyDeleteLET THE TRUTH BE TOLD BRUTHA!
And your wrong. Do you want to call my lawyers or what?

ReplyDeleteIf that question is being asked of me, I have never removed a single comment. I did refuse to publish three comments, but that was because, as I made clear in my post on the subject, that those three posts were claiming to identify a/the M.A.L.ady, and there was not sufficient proof for me to allow that claim to be made on this site.

ReplyDeleteIf this is a M.A.L.ady threatening to sic lawyers on me, it's proof that irony is not yet dead (even if grammar is -- it should be "you're wrong," not "your wrong"). Anyway, as regards the legal threat, bring it on -- not only will it be interesting to see how they plan to prove "libel" against an anonymous person never mentioned by name (see why I decided against publishing those claims?), but, by taking this to court, you'll be surrendering your own anonymity. I hope you have those lawyers on retainer, as you'll be needing them quite a bit after you reveal your own identity by starting a legal action.
I can also vouch that what Marc says here is true, and much more. Be patient everyone.
